Walter Phillips is a writer who can’t find his next breakthrough piece. One night on a walk through an old oddities store, he comes across a painting made from a man with schizophrenia. Soon after he embarks on a journey to England to pay a visit to a well renowned mental institution ran by a man by the name of Mr. Lockhart to research the ways mental illness can effect the way man thinks and acts. Soon things begin to take a sharp turn and Walter finds himself in the midst of his own psychological nightmare.
